My personal project, Twelve of Twelve was for the second year in a row, a bust. I’m trying not to let this bother my perfectionistic spirit. ๐ Preparing to move really did me in when it came to this project. But that said, we still ended up with five family photos we probably wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for this project. So here’s our year in review:
January
Picture taken at Josh’s grandmother’s funeral. This was her church where she was an active member in for many years.
February
Here we are gearing up to put our house on the market! My favorite picture from this project.
March
Easter Sunday at my Mom’s.
August
Instagram shot at my Nanny’s former home.
September
Beach vacation at Emerald Isle!
Claire @ Lemon Jelly Cake
Twelve or not, this is wonderful! I’d love to try something similar if I can convince my husband to participate, haha. ๐
Beverly Suela
All I can say based on this pictures, it’s a perfect model of a happy and bonded family. ๐
Nicole @ Living Out His Love
What a wonderful idea! I love all the shots you got, and it’s a great twist on a 365 project. Perfect!
Briana
You captured some amazing photos and moments in your family’s history. I would say that was quite successful! And, can I just tell you how beautiful you are? You’ve got the clothes and the stance and the smile down pat, for one who is typically on the other side of the lens. ๐
Aunt Joyce
I love all these shots (maybe because I love the subjects?)!The beach shot is SO beautiful! I love the way the colors stand out so well in front of the pastel background of sand & ocean.
Did you know that Calvary Church is:
the church my Dad pastored; the church I attended from the age of 8 – 18; the church I was baptized in; the church I helped build; the church where I first met Marlin & his family when they came there in 1974; the church where I sang in the choir (& passed notes back & forth w/Marlin); the first place I preached; and best of all: it is the place where I walked down the aisle while Marlin sang to me and we became husband & wife almost 35 years ago!
I have SO MANY memories there. I’m glad you have a picture.
Love you!
