I can’t say I was sad to see February leave. The one bright spot was Valentine’s Day. It was a month full of illness, fevers, an extracted tooth, and a whirl of work getting our house ready to be put on the market. Welcome March! That said, we still had lots of adventures.

Sophia loves her Angelina and Ella Bella books. This girl is obsessed with ballet.

So excited to get our 2012 book of family pictures that I create with Blurb. But was not so happy with our evil squirrels that tore into a package of chocolates. Thankfully, they were saved (see below right).

Loud music (above) and lots of drawing (below) happening on these cold winter days.

Valentine’s Day treats (above) and amazing eats (below). Roasted brussel sprouts and dried cranberries with coconut oil and maple syrup. Put that on top of wild rice with a sprinkle of goat cheese. Wow!

Sad boy with his extracted tooth, due to an injury several years ago. However, it officially “went bad” a few weeks ago. He was so brave though!

A little break in painting and cleaning meant knitting and a favorite movie.

Somebody got into mommy’s make-up!

Visiting with Josh’s grandpa and seeing his new home.
I want the sprouts recipe! We tried them for the very first time for our Christmas dinner and Steve loved them. He loves cranberries, too, so I bet that would be a hit here.
Sophia getting into your makeup is just too cute ๐
And I’m jealous of all the work you’ve gotten done on your house! Part of me never wants to leave ours, but the other part of me really wishes we could get out of the location. We are pretty much trapped for the foreseeable future, though, because even if the market around here were good (it isn’t), it will take us probably two years to get the house finished. We tried setting a goal and making a task list for February…that turned out to be a joke. I try to celebrate the progress, but it is frustrating that everything takes so long, and our plans always get foiled by one unexpected thing or another!
