When going through my recipes on my computer I unearthed Chunky Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies. How could one go wrong making these? They were scrumptious: soft, chewy, and addicting!
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks softened butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
– Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a small bowl.
– Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chips.
– Drop dough by teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheet (airbake or stone works best).
– Bake at 375 until edges are set and centers are soft (anywhere between 7-12 minutes). Let stand for 3-4 minutes while they set.

Ooooo, yummy. So tempting, but I’m trying to be “good”. It’s good you didn’t include a picture. That would have put me over the edge. (Just kidding. Sort of.) ๐
